Electronic Press Kit for Morgan Paros

/// Morgan Paros has spent most of the last decade carving out her niche as a touring multi-instrumentalist and recording artist based in Los Angeles. In recent years, she’s been touring the world with the pop artist Ashe, while also recording and arranging strings for artists such as Shawn Mendes, Ricky Montgomery, Kenzie, Joshua Bassett, Lauv and Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness. Ever a lover of the in-between, when off-tour Morgan began writing and recording songs with her long-time partner, 3x Grammy award-winning producer-engineer Jeremy Hatcher (Harry Styles, Lizzo, Maggie Rogers). Her debut single “Last Straw” is the first release of a body of work inspired by both her private life and love of live performance. Her honest lyrics speak to the puzzle of being human, the questions of her generation, and the feelings that come from not always knowing the answers.

— Right Chord Music
“Today she steps out as a solo artist with the single “Last Straw,” a buoyant, propulsive pop-rocker that brings to mind artists such as MUNA and Maggie Rogers.. she sings in a vibrant tune about cutting through the blah-blah-blah of the world.”
— Kevin Bronson / Buzzbands.la
“ ‘Last Straw’ is about finding refuge in yourself despite the chaos or chatter around you, having courage live alongside questioning. It’s about centering on what lights you up in a world where there might not be any light posts to guide you.”
