MORGAN PAROS is a violinist, vocalist, and songwriter based in Los Angeles. Her international performance and recording career spans contemporary, classical, and commercial music. From pop music to video game and film scores, she attributes working cross-genre to her classical training, wide musical influences, and intimate knowledge of electronic gear. She regularly arranges, composes, and improvises string sections for sessions and live shows. Hailed as a dynamic performer, reviews call her a “powerhouse with charismatic stage qualities!” . . .a “girl that can do anything!” . . .a “captivating, secret weapon” (Odyssey Online, Permanent Rain Press, Indie.Alt). Morgan is open to challenges posed by artists and music directors. For instance: learning guitar one week before a national tour, singing and playing violin simultaneously, walking stairs while playing jazz violin licks, and improvising daily performances over a 6-week art exhibition, where reviews likened her improv to the pulse of 20th century music pioneers Terry Riley and Steve Reich.

Morgan earned her degree on merit scholarship from the Cleveland Institute of Music and Case Western Reserve University. She studied under esteemed violinists in the USA and France such as Michael Davis, Devy Erlih, Annie Fullard, and Carol Ruzicka. Her passion for chamber music began early on with year-round enrollment in Deborah Price’s Chamber Music Connection. Morgan has been coached by members of the Guarneri, Vermeer, Cavani, and Cleveland String Quartets. Additionally, she has performed in masterclasses with violinists Leila Josefowicz, Christian Howes, Diane Monroe, and Don Weilerstein.

Morgan finds inspiration through collaboration in a diverse and inclusive music community. She believes creating music is the most sustainable art form and practice. Its history and methods are taught via our senses and all performance begins and ends with silence, in an empty space. It's a leave-no-trace kind of vibe, which she values for her generation. Among her favorite music experiences are playing chamber music in Prague at a school for the blind, headlining New Years LA with Hunter Hunted, recording the soundtrack for the new PlayStation game "Wattam," and several unforgettable events with mass meditation organization The Big Quiet.

Morgan is sponsored by Bridge Violins, CodaBow, and Dunlop
